Dan Purvine is the President of A/E Clarity Consulting and Training, a firm that specializes in helping A/E firms navigate the complex rules and regulations applicable to state, federal, and local agency contracts.
Dan has over 25 years of experience in the A/E industry – 14 years with a large engineering firm and since 2012, as the owner of A/E Clarity and a related CPA firm that specializes in performing indirect cost rate audits of A/E firms nationwide. In his role as a consultant to ACEC national, Dan works closely with state ACEC organizations and A/E firms on issues related to FAR overhead rates, audits, and contracting with state and local agencies.
Nick Baxter works exclusively with AEC firms to develop strategic lease and financing structures for leasehold improvements, technology, geospatial, software, and other fixed assets.
Since joining the industry in 2013, Nick has built personalized solutions for firms looking to maximize tax, accounting, and FAR overhead benefits. Nick is a Certified Lease and Finance Professional (CLFP) and has an MBA in Finance and Competitive Strategy from The Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester.
