Alan discussed First American’s 25-year history in the community, our anticipated growth trajectory for the next several years--which includes plans to hire 20 additional colleagues in 2022--and the careful planning that went into our innovative new headquarters.

Alan noted that the Victor location was chosen in keeping with the company’s strong commitment to Rochester. To address the future of hybrid work, the building includes state-of-the-art video conferencing capabilities, collaborative spaces, and even outdoor recreational opportunities just outside the office.

Alan mentioned First American’s client base includes hospital systems, universities and big tech, among others, noting that the equipment lending industry is both “large and dynamic.”

When asked what differentiates First American from other firms, Alan cited our use of proprietary digital tools to enhance the client experience as well as First American’s industry specialists, whose deep knowledge helps companies complete their projects, achieve their missions, and meet their growth goals.

Alan also praised Rochester’s respected college and university system that has produced so many First American hires, giving a shout out to our many RIT, University of Rochester, St. John Fisher and Nazareth grads.

Alan shared, “We’re on a great growth trajectory,” noting plans to launch more new teams, develop new digital tools for the CFOs we serve, and hire additional colleagues.

He concluded the segment sharing that the company’s overarching goal is “to keep clients at the center of everything we do.”
