Creating a Better World

To achieve our vision of becoming the best company to work for and the best company to work with, we understand that we must have a vibrant and diverse and inclusive workforce. First American’s Diversity & Inclusion Team and Leadership Team announced five initial steps we are taking to proactively create a better world.

Step 1

First American made corporate donations to Rochester-based and national non-profit organizations that protect human and civil rights.

Step 2

Colleague donations to any non-profit civil rights organization of their choice will be matched by First American.

Step 3

An expanded diversity and inclusion education initiative will be held at monthly companywide meetings.

Step 4

The company supports and promotes colleague participation in Black Lives Matter and Pride events that go beyond awareness and focus on action.

Step 5

First American launched an initiative to spotlight and support minority-owned businesses in the Rochester community.
