Regis University was exploring opportunities to be more proactive in how they address physical and digital infrastructure needs on campus. Their old process for evaluating capital projects was decentralized and offered very little flexibility by asset. They had a very incrementally focused finance model and were feeling constrained, they were looking to extend their planning horizon.
Through First American, Regis found value in a holistic approach that allows the university to deploy capital more efficiently over several departments in order to accelerate critical investments. This process allowed them to think more strategically about the future and build in flexibility for the unknown.
