Dan Purvine, President, A/E Clarity

Dan Purvine is the President of A/E Clarity Consulting and Training, a firm that specializes in helping A/E firms navigate the complex rules and regulations applicable to state, federal, and local agency contracts.

Dan has over 25 years of experience in the A/E industry. After spending 14 years with a large engineering firm, Dan moved to be the owner of A/E Clarity in 2012 along with a related CPA firm that specializes in performing indirect cost rate audits of A/E firms nationwide. Dan is also a consultant to ACEC National, working closely with state ACEC organizations and A/E firms on issues related to FAR overhead rates, audits and contracting with state and local agencies.

Nick Baxter, National Vice President, First American Equipment Finance

Nick Baxter works exclusively with AEC firms to develop strategic lease and financing structures for leasehold improvements, technology, geospatial, software, and other fixed assets.

Since joining the industry in 2013, Nick has built personalized solutions for firms looking to maximize tax, accounting, and FAR overhead benefits.
