Habitat for Humanity

First American is proud to support Flower City Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build program again this year. Throughout the summer, 45 First American colleagues volunteered across five days, building and painting homes in the city of Rochester. First American hosts the largest Women Build team in the community.

First American is focused on supporting the local community and has called Rochester home for over 20 years. Colleagues are eager and excited to give back, and this is just one of many of the events First American has participated in for 2021. First American colleagues are able to take 16 hours of paid Volunteer Time Off annually in support of community causes. In 2020, colleagues supported over 75 non-profits through donations, fundraisers and volunteer events. In 2019, First American was named Outstanding Corporation on National Philanthropy Day by the Association for Fundraising Professionals (AFP) of Genesee Valley Chapter.
