Best to Sell For

First American Equipment Finance is pleased to announce that it has ranked #22 on the Selling Power 50 Best Companies to Sell For list. This is the 22nd consecutive year the ranking has been published by Selling Power and First American’s sixth consecutive year on the list.

To assemble this year’s list, Selling Power’s research team created a thorough application to gather data and rank companies across four main categories: compensation and benefits, sales onboarding and training strategies, sales culture in alignment with company culture, and how well the company reflected a diverse and inclusive workforce. Most companies featured on the list were notably successful and continued to thrive despite facing the worst inflationary period in decades. The list encompasses companies of all sizes – ranging from fewer than 100 salespeople to salesforce numbers in the thousands.

“Our sales colleagues play a key role in First American’s growth and ultimately, our clients’ success” said Mike Wiedemer, National Sales Director at First American. “First American’s sales organization is a group of intelligent, professional, and genuine colleagues who work hard to deliver outstanding service to their clients while maintaining an award-winning sales culture within our organization. They are very deserving of this honor.”

First American is a place where high performers flourish. The organization’s philosophy includes hiring and retaining top talent, building a nationally recognized culture, and performance-based incentives. As a result, the sales trajectory has shown substantial growth during the last several years. The company grew from $606 million in sales in 2016 to $1.38 billion in 2021. During this time, the company created close to 100 new positions in its Rochester, NY headquarters. First American’s vision is to become the best company to work for and the best company to work with.
