First American volunteers planned, cooked and served dinner for 25 guests staying at the American Cancer Society B. Thomas Golisano Hope Lodge Hospitality House.
The hope lodge offers a supportive, homelike environment where guests can share a meal, join in the evening’s activities, or unwind in their own private room while in active cancer treatment, and permanently reside more than 40 miles or one hour away from their cancer treatment center. Patients (and their caregivers) may stay at the hope lodge for the duration of their treatment. More details here.
