Richard LoGuercio, the founder and owner of Town & Country Distinctive Event Rentals & Services in Van Nuys, CA has been in the event rentals business since he was a teenager, when he was looking to make enough money to buy a car.

LoGuercio worked for a number of rental companies while he went to school and truly learned the business from the ground up. He opened his first rental in 1981. Town & Country opened for business in April 2005, operating out of a 61,000-square-foot warehouse he purchased in Van Nuys, and he hasn’t stopped since.

“Now we have 140 trucks, 32 outside salespeople, more than 700 employees and we’re looking to net $80 million this year,” LoGuercio said.

City National Bank helped increase the number of Town & Country trucks on the road by introducing LoGuercio to the truck leasing options available through First American Equipment Finance, a City National subsidiary that has become an integral part of the relationship between City National Bank and Town & Country.

“Leasing our trucks rather than purchasing them saved us a lot of money – which gives me a lot more money to spend on inventory – which I love,” said LoGuercio.
