Bruce Masterson serves as General Counsel for First American Equipment Finance, providing legal expertise and resources to his colleagues. With over 30 years of experience in the leasing industry, Bruce is dedicated to helping his team cultivate new and existing financing relationships with clients across the country. He values being part of a company that continually evolves to meet client needs.

Prior to joining First American in 2003, Bruce served as both in-house and outside counsel for several well-known lessors, including Tokai Financial Services, CIT, and Fleet Capital. Throughout his career, he has also co-led two U.S. government sponsored seminars in Russia and Egypt, focused on modernizing financial services. To stay current with emerging trends in the equipment financing and legal industries, Bruce is an active member of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA) and is a past Chairman of the ELFA Legal Committee. 

Bruce holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the College of William & Mary and a JD cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh, where he was a member of the Law Review.

Residing in both Westborough, MA, and Ligonier, PA, Bruce and his wife enjoy spending time with their family and have a special place in their hearts for Wheaten Terriers.
